Additionally, you will manage eLearning, webinars, and other professional development initiatives. Under the ‘Chemical Watch Events & Training’ (CW E&T) banner, you and your team will create compelling events that bring together the global product compliance and sustainability community to learn, discuss regulatory hot topics, network, and forge new connections. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing the strategic direction and value proposition for CW E&T, setting budgets, and ensuring the delivery of P&L targets. You will lead and develop your team to achieve high performance, oversee the planning and execution of event programmes and operations, and collaborate with sales, account management, and marketing teams to drive event success. Managing relationships with venues to ensure seamless event execution will also be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will engage with internal stakeholders and represent CW E&T in Enhesa group initiatives. Responsibilities Overall management : Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of CW E&T, including P&L performance and the delivery of live, hybrid, and on-demand events. Strategic planning : Develop the value proposition and annual business plan for CW E&T through a combination of quantitative and qualitative research and analysis, collaborating with Product Management, Content, Marketing, and Commercial teams. Budgeting and planning : Work within the budget process to establish annual budgets and annual plans for CW E&T, aiming to achieve agreed growth targets, KPIs, and customer metrics. Customer insights : Utilise ‘voice of customer’ insights to enhance the experience for sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees, and to explore new initiatives and product launches. Event delivery : Oversee the delivery of live events, coordinating all functions (event production, operations, technical, marketing, customer success, sales) to ensure successful events with clear and measurable timelines and key success factors. Market understanding : Gain a deep understanding of key market segments and drivers through close relationships with subject matter experts. Competitive analysis : Monitor the strengths and weaknesses of competitors and identify unique selling propositions for our business. Commercial operations : Collaborate with the commercial team to implement the account management and new business strategy for CW E&T and professional development membership. Relationship management : Maintain relationships with key customers, venues, and stakeholders, and build relationships with new potential customers who are strategically important for the business. Financial forecasting : Deliver regular financial forecasts for events. Team development : Work with team members to develop their events management skill sets and build resilience and succession plans. Product/technical collaboration : Work closely with the technical and product teams at Enhesa to enhance the hybrid customer and exhibitor experience, and delegate engagement.
