To support future growth, they are hiring a Junior Bid Manager to submit tenders and proposals in the Electric Vehicle charging and innovation sector, resulting in the successful award of contracts. You’ll be joining a mission to change the world, making it more sustainable while working with a team of passionate individuals and getting involved in interesting projects. What you’ll be doing: As Bid Manager, you will: Develop and execute bid strategies - Take ownership of the end to end tender process, from bid identification to developing successful tenders Shape the internal processes to enable internal teams to contribute effectively and efficiently to the bid submission and to measure key performance indicators Lead internal resources to ensure that high quality, commercially viable and compliant bids are developed, authorised, and submitted on time to the highest standards Attend collaborative competition briefings, providing a company ‘pitch’ relevant to the competition scope and objectives where appropriate Lead effective bid meetings with consortium partners and internal technical resource Lead the transition of successful awards into delivery, working closely with the Commercial, Finance and respective delivery team What you’ll need to bring: We are looking for measured, engaging and highly organised individual with excellent project management skills. The role requires excellent communication and social skills, to build valuable internal relationships that centre on collaboration and trust. The applicant will be articulate, engaging, and comfortable in presenting to audiences and ‘holding a room’. Demonstrable experience in the following areas: Leading, delivering, and winning bids in the public sector, particularly for local authorities Working with internal delivery teams to deliver bids and proposals on time Collaborating with sales teams to develop opportunities and engage proactively with customers and their procurement teams Building and maintaining effective internal and external relationships Strong commercial acumen Confident in their approach to colleagues and customers At least one year of Bid Management experience
