How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
The Wellness Program Specialist will serve as a resource for the Delta Wellness program to amplify and support the communication of Global Health & Wellness programs and engagement. This includes promoting programs and resources for employees, communicating and activating initiatives from our global health & wellness division. They will be a key driver for our wellness champion network and facilitating onsite opportunities to measure effectiveness. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong program management skills, ability to communicate and educate an audience with varying educational backgrounds, an ability to thrive within a fast-paced, matrixed organization, a passion for driving an exceptional employee experience. They will be a direct report to the Wellness Engagement & Activation Manager - Global Health & Wellness.
Summary Of Responsibilities (not Comprehensive Of All Tasks)
- Serve as the liaison for educational support and program content for divisional managers (s) on all things health and wellness.
- Develop and/or manage customized company wellbeing communications, additionally playing a supporting role in implementation of employee education and training sessions and materials based on the Global Health & Wellness strategic focus areas and priorities.
- Build an effective channel for champion and employee feedback to refine our health and wellness offerings.
- Partner internally with other Delta areas such as HR, safety, corporate real estate, BRG's, Sustainability, Onboarding and DE&I teams to guide strategy and coordinate events and communications.
- Participate in the implementation of key divisional campaigns and events that build the Delta Wellness brand, enhance global employee engagement and influence employees to take charge of their wellbeing.
- Manage, support, and nurture Wellness champions by overseeing the development of educational content, managing communication strategies, and supporting local social wellness initiatives. This includes roles such as onboarding champions, managing monthly and annual champion meetings, and serving as a strategic partner to the divisional leaders by facilitating champion participation for various events across the business.
- Manage Delta Wellness related event requests (event speakers, tabling invitation, request for swag, etc.)
- Manage, coordinate and promote the Delta Wellness internal Social Media presence to ensure a consistence brand (SkyHub, Deltavision, Email updates, etc.)

What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications)
- Knowledgeable in Wellness and Employee Engagement/Experience programs and effective change management
- Demonstrated record of strong leadership skills; organizational skills, ability to encourage, high level of accountability and ownership
- Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
- If internal, must be performing satisfactorily in current position
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred Qualifications)
- Health or Wellness background related to education (dietitian, nurse, health promotion) preferred
