About The Role PolyNovo is currently searching for an experienced Commercial Manager to join the UK team. The Commercial Manager will develop and implement effective sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets in EMEA. Expand our distribution network in target countries where it is relevant and sustainable to do so, through thorough research and negotiation to find optimal business partners. Manage our distribution partnerships, monitoring their sales and marketing plans and activities, pricing strategies, demand forecasts and local market requirements. Provide training and other support to distributors, as well as collaborating with Key Opinion Leaders throughout distributor markets to increase case awareness, publications, and other peer-to-peer activities Key Responsibilities Sales Planning and Management: Develop an annual Distributor Markets sales plan, including new market entry, sales targets, and regional forecasts, as well as country-specific promotional programs. Regular communication with each Distributor, to manage the delivery of sales plans and local marketing initiatives; ensuring appropriate corrective action is taken when necessary. Manage the Distributor markets' six-month rolling forecast. Provide other long-term or special reports as required to support business planning. Update the CRM system with all key customer/distributor interactions, including monthly forecasts. Ensure Sales and Marketing activities are compliant with Regulatory requirements and guidelines Support with the preparation and submission of Distributor Market tenders and contracts. Monitor local market prices and manage Distributor pricing, considering costs and anticipated volumes. Communicate sales plans, budgets, and monthly results and ensure appropriate corrective action is taken where necessary. New Market Entry: Research and liaise with potential Distributor partners; assess which align with our requirements. Manage the negotiations, facilitate contracts in conjunction with the General Council, and launch and onboarding for each Distributor. Develop Distributor market entry/product launch plans in line with our strategies and timelines. Provide product training and support to ensure effective selling and use of our products. Regional Marketing and Product Support: Work with Distributors to assess market opportunities. Develop strategies to target growth areas. Develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to drive publications and peer-to-peer advocacy across the region. Deliver training for Distributor sales teams, to ensure strong product knowledge and effective sales messaging. Provide ongoing support, sharing clinical insights, market feedback and new clinical publications Collaborate with the Marketing Director to deploy new sales and marketing tools; adapted as required for each market Provide support with conference planning, through the provision of marketing assets and input as needed, as well as attendance as required. Meet local country customers with field salespeople; gain local market insights and assist with improving sales effectiveness. Capture and share customer (product user) feedback in each market, including Post Market Surveillance, product complaints and new product opportunities. Manage and attend European and regional medical meetings/exhibitions and support Distributor national meetings. Aid in meeting symposia where appropriate. Administration Manage export sales administration and performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible Liaise with Finance and Customer Service personnel to control debtor accounts. Prepare monthly Sales reports Provide monthly rolling demand forecasts to Operations. Other Responsibilities Support validation, product temperature excursions and customer complaints activities. Comply with all company quality standards, procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements. Operate within the requirements of the quality system and ensure responsibilities are conducted in accordance with the requirements of the applicable regulatory and quality processes. About you: Degree qualifications in Science/Healthcare or Business/Marketing. 7+ years’ experience with Export Sales / Distributor Management experience preferably in healthcare/medical devices. Well-developed negotiation and influencing skills with a proven ability to broker agreements. Strong interpersonal and communication skills including demonstrated success in building effective working relationships with distributor partners, customers, co-workers, and other stakeholders. Excellent data analysis, reporting, documentation, and organisational skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Proven ability to take accountability for the quality and timeliness of work outputs while maintaining high personal and professional standards. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within small team environments, self-starter with proactive problem-solving skills and strong personal initiative. Results-focused; able to translate long-range visions and strategies into short-term activity. Ability to travel as required up to 50% of the time.
