What You Will Do:
- Develop, implement, and review HSE policies to ensure compliance with standards and legislation.
- Provide expert HSE advice and guidance to stakeholders, including the Senior Management team.
- Produce and analyse safety statistics for senior management, driving continuous improvement in all HSE matters.
- Oversee all incident investigations, ensuring lessons learned are shared across the team.
- Conduct internal audits, ensuring the effective management of contractors and compliance with safety management systems.
- Facilitate monthly HSE meetings, ensuring safety data is communicated effectively at all levels within the business.
What You Will Bring:
- NEBOSH General Certificate qualification, with Lead Auditor qualification being a desirable asset.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management-level HSE role, ideally within a high volume manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Proven experience in implementing and maintaining accredited Safety Management systems (ISO 45001, ISO14001, ISO5001).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels within the organisation.
- A track record of driving behavioural culture change programs across large, multi-shift operations.
