We specialise in the design, supply, and installation of a wide range of prefabricated energy solutions, typically built in NI and shipped throughout the UK & Europe. We also offer turnkey design, build, and operate solutions for commercial energy centres and large-scale district heating solutions and have experience with successfully procuring and delivering many similar packages to a wide range of public bodies throughout UK & Europe.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to integrate a Mechanical Fitter / Plumber to support our growing team in our fabulous new Head Quarters based in Banbridge. This post is permanent contract. Location | Banbridge Fabrication, Head Office.
Hours | Monday - Thursday 7am - 5pm, Friday 7am - 4pm
Salary | Competitive depending on experience
Responsible to | Site Manager
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist in the installation of prefabricated pipework.
They will review assembly drawings, position, and install the support bracketry.
Position and install the correct pipework in our wide range of modules, ranging in design and sizes. Successful candidate will follow this process throughout all live projects. They will also be involved in the assembly of our prefabricated plantrooms.
Once these works are completed, they will carry out pressure testing on all pipework or equipment installed.
Other works involved are, bolt torquing, insulation block installs, threaded rod capping, additional bracketry install etc
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential Criteria:
2 years’ experience within the mechanical industry completing similar duties.
The ability to read and understand assembly and schematic drawings.
Basic set of mechanical tools.
Reliable & punctual.
Good teamwork skills.
Willingness to help in other areas of the assembly yard.
Full UK Driving licence would be preferred.
