Role: Finance Project Manager
Location: London - 1 day per week onsite
Rate: £750 per day via umbrella company
Length: Initial 6 months
About the team:
The finance team covers financial reporting, regulatory reporting, Treasury, commercial performance and Finance transformation & change. The small finance transformation and change team focuses on enabling transformational change within Finance; guided by our strategic ambitions and delivered through an agile way of working. As Finance Project Manager you will report to the Finance Transformation & Change Lead and will work closely with the Finance Leadership Team as well as colleagues across finance and the business.
Responsibilities:
As key member of the Finance Transformation and Change you will be asked to support a variety of initiatives throughout their project lifecycle, including but not limited to the following:
Ideation and backlog
Finance subject matter expert on the HINV change framework and HINV Finance Book of Work.
Ensuring new book of work entries are captured in line with minimum data requirements.
Enabling and challenging product owners on prioritisation discussions ensuring alignment to Finance strategy.
Project initiation
Support Finance, Business & Technology Leads with prioritisation and roadmap for delivery.
Support detailed business case definition, and business change cost estimates.
Understand stakeholder's viewpoints to determine and deliver the most beneficial solutions.
Use finance, systems and banking knowledge and expertise to help confirm solutions which can be delivered within a robust change management framework.
Support the Finance Transformation & Change Lead with the design and implementation of the Finance Transformation & Change governance model.
Support in establishing a project reporting and KPI tracking framework which effectively captures and escalates corrective actions to risks and issues.
Identification of key RAID items and definition of mitigation approaches on your projects
Formulation of project plans and assessment of SME capacity required to deliver.
Articulation of key project outcomes and success criteria.
Creation and ownership of project Plan on a Page (PoaP).Project delivery
Proactively identify, manage, and control delivery risks and other RAID items across the Finance book of work .
Leading adoption and continuous improvement of Agile Ways of Operating across the portfolio through informally coaching finance colleagues in change management best practice
Bring a focus to the programme on business outcomes, and benefits management (including benefits realisation).
Facilitate stakeholders through decision making, consulting them, influencing them and by resolving conflicts and disagreement etc.
Project completion
Ensure completion of scope evidenced by sign-off from SMEs and Accountable Executive (AE).
Validation of business case and benefits measurement.
Documentation of lessons learnt.
Project artefacts saved and shared with key stakeholders for future reference and learnings.

Build and sustain trusting relationships with internal customers by consistently delivering value add services.
Self-starter with the ability to interchange working styles, either independently of direction or with multiple stakeholders on any stage of project delivery
Influence and manage HINV, Global Finance Centre (GFC) and UK stakeholders and sponsor relationships in leading the change and achieving the benefits.
Promote a cultural mind-shift to including Business Change as a key success factor in achieving sustainable business outcomes.
Ensure that change impacts and reactions are analysed and change interventions identified to manage those impacts and reactions across all areas
Develop change solution and designs / options that are focused on successful change embedding into the teamsKey Skills and Experience:
To be successful in your application for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
Work experience in dynamic and fast-paced environments, and/or other high-growth businesses in the Financial Services and/or Technology industries

A strategic thinker with strong execution skills with a proven ability to apply change management principles and methodologies to drive change in a regulated environment.
An understanding of governance principles, best practice, and legal and regulatory requirements with a proven ability to identify risks associated with large scale change and transformation initiatives.
