Role Overview Forvis Mazars LLP, a leading professional services firm, is seeking a dynamic and results driven EMEA Training Business Development Lead. This role is crucial for our Energy, Infrastructure & Environment team, focusing on sales, client relationship management, and business development. The primary objective is to expand and maintain a robust pipeline of high-value clients for our project finance modelling, valuations, acquisitions, and sector-focused training courses.
Responsibilities - Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify, pursue, and secure new client relationships while maintaining existing ones across the EMEA region.
- Sales & Pipeline Management: Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to manage and track sales activities, ensuring a healthy pipeline of prospective clients.
- Customised Training Solutions: Develop and offer tailored training programs to meet specific client needs, enhancing client engagement and satisfaction.
- Market Analysis: Continuously analyse regional markets to identify new business opportunities and understand competitor strategies.
- Client Relationship Building: Foster strong, professional relationships through regular roadshows, appreciation events, and effective communication.
- Training Delivery Oversight: Ensure high-quality delivery of both in-house and public training courses, managing logistics and content relevance.
- Feedback Management: Conduct post-training review meetings to gather client feedback, using insights for service improvement.
- Cross-Selling Opportunities: Leverage training relationships to introduce clients to additional Forvis Mazars services like model build, audit, valuations, and advisory.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align business development strategies with overall company objectives.
- Reporting & Documentation: Regularly report on business development activities, market trends, and client feedback to senior management.
Regional Focus The role will encompass a broad regional focus, including (but not limited to) Italy, Nordics, Benelux, CEE, Switzerland, and other locations across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) as per need and mutual-agreement.
Qualifications - Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce, Pipedrive, Creatio, HubSpot, etc.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel and manage a diverse client portfolio across multiple regions.
- Fluent in English; European language (Spanish, French, German etc.) proficiency is an advantage but not essential.
