Rate: £19.36 per hour PAYE / £24 per hour Umbrella PAYE

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial team, contributing to innovative service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Role Overview
As an Service Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Commercial Waste division by:
Providing exceptional administrative support, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Promoting a positive and professional image of the service, resolving issues proactively and efficiently.
Managing customer communications, including handling emails, phone calls, and other correspondence.
Maintaining accurate records through data entry and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
This role requires a conscientious individual with excellent organisational and communication skills to support the division’s aim of “getting it right first time” while increasing market share and customer retention.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer queries via phone, email, and other channels, providing clear and accurate information.
Deliver financial and service advice using tools like MS Office and internal databases.
Accurately input data, manage records, and oversee annual document renewals and retention.
Liaise with contractors to ensure smooth service delivery, including resolving complaints and monitoring tasks.
Process and maintain Waste Transfer Notices, ensuring compliance with the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
Update and track Commercial Waste sales data, providing insights on new, amended, or cancelled accounts.
Support basic debt recovery actions and advise customers on account status and payment options.
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
Highly organised and detail-oriented.
Proficient in MS Office and comfortable managing digital and analogue systems.
Skilled in customer service with a proactive problem-solving approach.
A confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with team members, contractors, and customers.
Knowledgeable in administrative compliance and waste management policies (preferred).
