Your Impact:
As our IT Engineer, you will:
Manage and support IT systems, including Windows, Mac OS, Linux, and Cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
Work closely with the Infrastructure Engineer to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues, particularly related to servers, networking, and security.
Provide 2nd line support for IT-related issues, including server, network, and connectivity problems.
Diagnose and resolve more complex issues escalated from the 1st line of support, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
Support the management and maintenance of server hardware, network infrastructure, and related systems.
Patch Management and Vulnerability Remediation.
Oversee and manage patch management for operating systems, applications, and devices, ensuring timely deployment of security updates and patches.
Essential Qualifications/skills/experience:
Strong experience in managing and supporting Windows and Linux operating systems in an enterprise environment.
Experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and Azure AD to enforce security and compliance on endpoints and devices.
Expertise in managing patch management tools (e.g., WSUS, SCCM, Choclatey, Connect Secure) and vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys).
Proven experience in 2nd line support, including troubleshooting and resolving server, network, and connectivity issues.
Familiarity with network protocols, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and other network troubleshooting tools.
Experience with device hardware compliance and ensuring that devices meet corporate security requirements before allowing access to resources.
In-depth understanding of security principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls), and endpoint security measures.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly when it comes to diagnosing IT security issues, server/network issues, and resolving device compliance or patching problems.
Proven ability to monitor and manage device compliance across the organization, using tools like Intune to track health and security posture.
