They work tirelessly to promote animal welfare, prevent cruelty, and build a compassionate community where every animal is valued and treated with kindness.
And now, they are currently seeking a Head of Retail to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis (37.5 hours per week).

The Role
As Head of Retail, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and growth of our client's retail operations. You will oversee the success and sustainability of their shops and trading functions while ensuring that they meet their objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the expansion and development of retail operations
- Developing business cases for new shop openings
- Driving growth in e-commerce initiatives
- Centralising lease management and ensuring smooth processes
- Collaborating on the introduction of a comprehensive retail and trading handbook
- Ensuring compliance with retail legislation, GDPR, and fundraising standards
- Continuously evaluating and optimising retail systems, procedures, and brand standards
About You
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
- At least five years of proven retail experience with a successful track record
- Strong experience managing retail and e-commerce KPIs and targets
- Financial acumen and the ability to interpret and create financial reports
- A proven ability to lead and develop teams, promoting continuous professional growth
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, GDPR, and risk management regulations
