The Role
As a Sales Engineer, you'll collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide technical sales support, create accurate proposals, and build strong, long-term relationships. You'll play a vital role in delivering compliant, innovative solutions for some of the most iconic projects in London.
What You'll Do:
Estimating:
Interpret project specifications, technical drawings, and client needs to prepare accurate quotes.
Develop detailed, itemized proposals that align with profitability targets and highlight innovation.
Identify and mitigate project risks while exploring opportunities to add value.Sales:
Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to post-sale support.
Negotiate pricing and terms, consistently exceeding performance targets.
Stay informed on market trends and recommend strategies for success.Client Relationships and Communication:
Lead client meetings, clarify project requirements, and finalize proposals.
Present technical and commercial solutions with confidence.
Support negotiations by addressing technical queries.Documentation and Handover:
Ensure smooth project transitions by documenting and reviewing key contract details.
Maintain accurate records and update the sales database.
What You'll Bring:
Education: Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or ICT Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience: Background in sales, estimating, cost analysis, or quantity surveying.
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in ICT network design (e.g., CISCO qualifications) and familiarity with BMS, Security, or other Smart Building technologies.
Skills: Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational abilities. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
