Finatal is working with a private equity-backed engineering services business who are seeking an experienced Interim Power BI Developer to improve visibility in margin and sales data reporting. This role will involve developing complex Power BI reports, advising on strategic reporting improvements, and working closely with stakeholders to enhance decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for margin and sales data.
- Write SQL queries to manage and analyze large datasets.
- Use DAX for advanced calculations and metrics.
- Advise on improving reporting processes for better visibility and strategic insights.
- Collaborate with finance, sales, and operations teams to ensure reporting accuracy and relevance.
Skills and Experience:
- Expertise in Power BI, SQL, and DAX.
- Commercial mindset with experience advising on reporting improvements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality insights.
- Prior experience in a private equity-backed or engineering services business preferred.

- Hybrid role, with 1 day in Manchester per week.
