Location: Cwmgors, SA18 1RF Closing Date: 31st January 2025 We are excited to be recruiting an enthusiastic person, who is committed to tackling the climate emergency and supporting community wellbeing, to help us run Hwb y Gors when we open in Spring 2025! Working with our Creative Director, our Education Outreach Programme Lead and our Centre Manager, you will develop and manage an arts and education programme that reflects the joint objectives of addressing the climate/biodiversity emergencies and community resilience. This programme will include a comprehensive programme of arts and education provision targeting all ages and abilities. You will have a deep understanding and passion for the launch, development and growth of Hwb y Gors, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the role. You will have the experience and drive needed for delivering an arts and education programme to a variety of participants. Your programme of workshops, courses, events and activities will reflect the need for addressing the climate and biodiversity emergencies as well as the need for community resilience. You will work closely with the Hwb y Gors Centre Manager to realise the ambition for the centre to be self-sustaining within 3 years, and to be Net Zero by 2030. Awel Aman Tawe is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee, with a programme of work to support the transition to net zero. We work on a number of projects including energy efficiency, renewable energy, community resilience, sustainable transport, community arts and education programmes. We have developed two of the largest renewable energy co-ops in the UK which have helped to support the development of Hwb y Gors.
