You manage complex sales projects in collaboration with various departments (legal, finance, product management, etc.) and external partners, you are responsible for reaching revenue and booking quota within a timeline, as well as maintaining a great customer satisfaction level. Job description: Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our company solutions including Smart meters, Communication modules, Networks, Software, and Services. Think outside of the box and find creative ways to promote the company and penetrate the new vertical and growing markets of Itron Perform incisive and insightful market and competitive research to develop existing business and new high-level client relationships. Act as the customer's trusted advisor and develop a long-term customer relationship at the executive and government official levels. Understand client needs and tailor solutions through a consultative approach. Identify, recruit, and evaluate technical and business partners to address new markets. Prepare bid offers for clients working in a multi-disciplinary team, follow the execution of the projects, and take care of the post-project business evolution. Participate in tradeshows and events related to Utilities and Smart Cities to increase Itrons visibility. Generate leads and grow existing relationships, maintain an accurate, detailed opportunity list, and develop an active customer base along our long sales cycles. Required profile: Proven experience and proven track record in complex sales and business development in the UK. Coming with a consultative and/or sales background preferably in the areas of solutions and services offering for utilities, municipalities, and governmental entities. Entrepreneurial approach, curiosity, an out-of-the-box thinking attitude, and capability to make decisions autonomously. Tenacity, and outstanding ability to convince others and to maintain an effective business network. Excellent team spirit and communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
