About the Role The HSE Advisor aids in the development of the company’s HSE management system, safe systems of work and associated documentation. The HSE Advisor monitors the application of safe systems within the company and undertakes inspections and audits etc; all aimed at ensuring full compliance with the company management systems and applicable legislation. Primary Responsibilities Provide support and guidance to comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations, ISO standards 45001, 14001, and company policies Provide safety support and advice to all personnel Conduct site HSE audits and inspections onsite to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement Investigate incidents / accidents, conduct root cause analysis, ensure corrective actions are captured and tracked to closure and support implementation of Lessons Learned Safe system of work development – Risk assessment, BASIX, and associated procedures Conduct, review and implement COSHH, Noise and HAVS Risk Assessments Monitor and analyse Safety Observations, encouraging participation through actively resolving issues and providing feedback Support collation of environmental data to support the organisations goals and objectives. In line with environmental aspects and impacts Promote workforce engagement in all HSE activities, initiatives, and campaigns Collate, review, and produce statutory records as required Liaise with clients, auditors, and regulators where applicable Provide internal HSE training to groups and individuals Updating electronic systems, Q-Pulse, and IMS Support collation of HSE Statistics to input to various meetings Support DSE Assessment completion Attend various HSE related meetings and provide input Qualifications NEBOSH General Certificate or Equivalent Internal auditor qualification Formal Accident / Incident Investigation Training IOSH membership is welcome but not essential Experience Strong knowledge of relevant HSE regulations, standards, and best practices Previous HSE experience in a related industry is desirable Ideally experienced in hands-on operations/site based HSE role but not essential Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages Behaviours and Skills Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both internally and with external parties including clients, auditors, and regulators Possess good planning, organisational and problem-solving skills Experience in a fast-paced work environment Competent in risk assessment and risk management proficient in the use of management systems Experience as an internal auditor Self – motivated and able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment About Us With facilities in over thirty locations spanning five continents, Score employs more than 2000 people, including 230 apprentices.
