Product General Manager, Experiential and Adventure Travel, Remote / Hybrid, £60-65k . A superb opportunity to join this ethical and sustainability focussed travel company where you will lead on the strategic direction of their biggest destination / product stream Product General Manager Responsibilities Overall responsibility for the performance of this key business division/destination, ensuring the business moves forwards in terms of product, partners and digitisation. Expand and improve the customer offering. Own the divisional P&L as well as delivering and refining it's strategic plan. Optimise margins and revenue per booking through competitively negotiated terms with new and existing partners. Working collaboratively with the heads of sales and marketing to ensure strategies are aligned, destination tactics and initiatives. Accountable for highly targeted internal training ensuring sales and customer service teams have the latest product knowledge and key selling points. Undertaking annual budgeting/planning, quarterly reviews and monthly trading meetings. Maintain and enhance sustainability credentials, ensuring suppliers meet agreed best practice. Driving operational, systems and process efficiencies. Expanding product offering including ancillaries and flights. Product General Manager Skills Required A seasoned product professional with a wealth of experience gained in the travel industry; preferably with first hand experience of developing FIT and Tailormade products. A commercially astute, strategic thinking with a track record of delivering significant growth. Experience managing multi-million pound commercial partnerships. Experience implementing product and account management systems within medium to large sized travel businesses. A passion for sustainable and adventure travel A fantastic communicator, line manager and team player, willing to roll your sleeves up where necessary. Product General Manager Additional Details A competitive basic salary in the region of £60,000 - £65,000 depending on experience.
