Position: Area Land Agent Location: Coleford, Gloucestershire About the Role: Forestry England, the UK’s largest land management organisation, is seeking an experienced Land Agent to join their West Forest District team. Covering over 37,500ha of woodland across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Wiltshire, and Shropshire, you will play a key role in managing and negotiating a wide range of property agreements, with a particular focus on easements, tenancy negotiations, access rights, boundary issues, and dispute resolution. Key Responsibilities: Lead negotiations for tenancies, easements, access agreements, and deeds of grant, ensuring legal clarity and fairness. Manage and resolve boundary disputes and tenancy-related issues, maintaining positive relationships with tenants and stakeholders. Handle dispute resolution with tact and diplomacy, liaising with legal advisers when necessary. Oversee the commercial property management of Forestry England’s diverse portfolio, which includes residential, agricultural, sporting, and recreational properties. About You: You will be a MRICS or AssocRICS qualified professional with a strong background in property management and negotiating tenancy agreements. Experience in managing easements, resolving boundary disputes, and handling access rights will be essential. Your ability to manage commercial property portfolios and lead dispute resolution efforts in a professional and constructive manner will be key to your success in this role. Desirable Skills: Registered Valuer (or working towards). Experience in commercial property management and complex property negotiations.
