Role Overview We are seeking a lawyer with at least 2 years' experience in maritime and transport, ideally with expertise in shipping disputes and an interest in sustainability. The role focuses on advising clients in the green maritime sector, covering areas such as environmental compliance, decarbonisation, ESG, and sustainable fuels/technologies. Key Skills & Experience Qualified lawyer with 2+ years PQE, ideally at Associate or Senior Associate level. Strong experience in Shipping Disputes or maritime transport contracts (e.g., charterparties, bills of lading). Experience handling disputes in the High Court and arbitration. Knowledge of maritime regulations (e.g., MARPOL, EU Fit for 55, CII, EEXI) and bunker/fuel disputes is a plus. Excellent drafting, business development, and client engagement skills. Motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Involvement in practice development, including writing articles on sustainable maritime law. International travel may be required.
