Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with expertise in drainage and highway design. The role involves delivering sustainable, innovative, and cost-effective design solutions for infrastructure projects, while exceeding client and stakeholder expectations. They are currently very heavily focused on structural engineer and would like to add somebody with technical expertise in highways and drainage design to work independently and then grow their own team. There is a strong pipeline of work, so initially the role is focused on the delivery of design work, but will also include client liaising, managing projects and managing/mentoring staff in the near future. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialist knowledge in drainage and highway design, including 3D surface modelling and hydraulic drainage design. Represent the company in meetings with clients, contractors, and local authorities.
