Role Overview The Climate Resilience Delivery Lead will play a key role in supporting SmartResilience’s mission to help organisations adapt to the challenges of climate change. In this role, you will lead the delivery of impactful climate resilience projects, guiding clients through onboarding and adoption of our powerful SaaS platform. You’ll be a trusted advisor, combining technical expertise with exceptional relationship management skills to deliver meaningful results for clients across multiple industries. As our Delivery Lead, you’ll be shaping the future of resilience for organisations worldwide while advancing your career in one of the most critical fields of our time. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership Lead the delivery of climate resilience projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Oversee end-to-end processes, from initial scoping and stakeholder engagement to implementation and final reporting. Client Onboarding and SaaS Adoption Lead client onboarding processes for SmartResilience’s SaaS platform, ensuring a smooth and effective transition for new users. Deliver training sessions, workshops, and support materials to enable clients to effectively use the platform. Customise onboarding plans to address client-specific needs and priorities. Client Advisory Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering expert guidance on TCFD, ISSB, and CSRD compliance related to physical climate risk. Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their specific needs are met through tailored adaptation strategies. Technical Expertise Conduct physical risk assessments, scenario modelling, and vulnerability analysis for clients, leveraging data and insights from leading providers Provide actionable recommendations for mitigation and adaptation strategies, including engineering, operational, and policy measures. Frameworks and Compliance Support clients in meeting regulatory and reporting requirements, including the TCFD, ISSB, and CSRD frameworks. Develop adaptation plans that align with international standards and best practices. Team Collaboration Work closely with SmartResilience’s internal teams, including climate scientists, software developers, and consultants, to ensure seamless delivery. Contribute to the development of new tools and services that enhance the company’s climate resilience offerings. Thought Leadership Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging regulations, and best practices in climate adaptation. Represent SmartResilience at industry events, webinars, and conferences to enhance the company’s profile and thought leadership. Key Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Climate Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years in climate resilience, sustainability consulting.. Proven track record in helping clients navigate climate risk and managing complex projects. Familiarity with TCFD, ISSB, and CSRD frameworks. Skills: Deep understanding of physical climate risks, scenario modelling, and adaptation strategies. Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights. Strong client relationship management skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach. Project management expertise, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Desirable: Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset. Technical proficiency in tools such as GIS, climate modelling software, and SaaS systems.
