Responsibilities of the Electrical Design Engineer will include: Managing all aspects of electrical design for projects. Producing and managing project-specific design deliverables. Interpreting and understanding client requirements through specifications, drawings, and correspondence. Communicating with clients, subcontractors, and external design resources to ensure specification compliance. Conducting site surveys and feasibility studies for existing assets. Preparing procurement specifications and detailed design construction drawings. Managing third-party designs and supporting installation and commissioning teams. Preparing and updating drawings, including single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and equipment specifications. Recording and documenting design changes through to completion and issuing As-Built documents. Requirements: A minimum of 3-8 years of real-world electrical design experience. Relevant electrical qualification or time-served experience. Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented. Strong communication and project management skills. A full, clean UK driving licence.
