With its Senior Management team serving as key advisors to the Government, this company continues to lead innovation in sustainable energy solutions. We are recruiting a Project Manager to oversee a major Healthcare project introducing a state-of-the-art District Heating scheme. Acting as Principal Contractor, the role involves managing the installation of Mechanical & HVAC into a new building which will house a series of Sub-Stations, Chillers, HIUs, Pumps, and Air Movement systems. This encompasses both new designs and retrofit work. This company places a strong emphasis on ensuring its Project Team consistently adheres to in-house Design Quality Assurance standards and CDM regulations. Their Project Managers are expected to demonstrate commercial acumen throughout the project lifecycle and maintain a client-facing presence to ensure exceptional delivery and stakeholder satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Project Manager with mechanical / HVAC expertise, particularly in managing the installation of Plant Rooms, Substations, or Large Boiler Houses. Key Responsibilities Health & Safety Oversight: Ensure robust Health & Safety management throughout the project, including maintaining and reviewing RAMS, and reporting near misses, incidents, and accidents per established processes. Design Compliance: Guarantee full compliance with the Design Management Regulations (CDM 2015). Budget Management: Monitor and manage project expenditures against budgets, providing regular updates to senior management. Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain effective relationships with Clients and other key stakeholders. Contract & Commercial Oversight: Lead contract and commercial management (with QS support) to ensure delivery aligns with contractual scopes and agreements. Project Manager Package: £75,000 Base Salary 25 days paid leave plus the option to purchase an additional 5 days. Performance Bonus: Discretionary annual bonus. Pension: Matched contributions of 5%.
