Job Description: As a Construction Planner, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling the project schedule, ensuring that all construction activities are completed on time and within budget. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all project milestones are achieved efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6). Coordinate with project teams to determine project timelines and milestones. Monitor project progress, identifying potential delays or issues and proactively recommending solutions. Assist with the preparation of project budgets and cost estimations. Track resources, labor, and materials to ensure project completion within scope and budget. Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and update schedules accordingly. Communicate with stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and senior management, to provide regular updates on project status. Ensure that all planning activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Assist in risk management and contingency planning. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Planner or similar role in the construction industry. Proficiency in planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project). Strong knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and timelines. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: Project management certification (e.g., PMP, APMP).
