This is a one off opportunity to join an innovative Impact Investment house. Its founding partners are power players in sustainable and impact investing space, and it is initially being assisted by one of the best-known sustainable asset managers. They are looking for a Investor Relations & Fundraising candidate to join their passionate team. You will have a strong academic background, a high level of interest in investments, in particular Impact Investing (sell side or buyside experience) and between 3-6 years of experience. The role will rely on you to be the first point of call for Institutional clients including: Key Responsibilities Fundraising Pitch the firm’s investment strategies, ensuring the tone of voice and messaging are aligned with the company vision. Due diligence, due diligence, due diligence – they want to understand their clients from the first contact through to mature, symbiotic relationships. Cross-functional role, working with Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams. The ability to produce and present clean and digestible client-facing content. Investor Relations Once a client is on board, it will be your responsibility to develop that relationship further and implement processes to drive continued development. Companies are made up of many different stakeholders, all of whom play an integral role. My client wants to develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the company, allowing them to understand their client’s business aims and corporate structure in a deeper way. High quality client deliverables, pitch packs and investment writing for investors. Support other areas of their business, ensuring effective investor reporting in a timely manner. Strategy Your input is exceptionally valuable to our client, and this extends to wider capital formation. The ability to craft engaging communication that is supported with empirical analysis will be an exceptionally valuable asset.
