The Role: As a Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of property development projects, from initial concept through to successful completion. You will work closely with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a pivotal role where you will be instrumental in driving the success of our development portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end development process for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Lead project teams, including architects, planners, and contractors, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication. Coordinate and manage planning applications, approvals, and due diligence processes. Oversee the project budget and financial forecasting, ensuring cost control and value engineering. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, consultants, contractors, and investors. Identify and assess new development opportunities and contribute to the strategic direction of the company’s development pipeline. Monitor project progress and mitigate any risks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification. Ensure compliance with relevant planning and building regulations, health and safety, and sustainability standards. Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders. Key Requirements: Proven experience in property development management, ideally with experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects. Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering successful developments on time and within budget. Excellent knowledge of planning processes, property regulations, and market trends. A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Real Estate, Construction Management, Urban Planning) or equivalent professional qualifications. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
