We are currently looking for a talented and driven Senior Sustainability Advisor to join our ODInteriors business unit, primarily working with our traditional fit-out team to drive best-in-class collateral for pitches and proposals, and to work collaboratively with the project team and supply chain to deliver projects in line with ODGroup's ESG Strategy and green building accreditations such as BREEAM, WELL and Ska Rating. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Liaise with the project teams and subcontractors to communicate project sustainability targets. Ensure that ESG objectives are implemented and that the project is legally compliant with environmental legislation. Calculate project targets in alignment with the ODGroup ESG Strategy and assist the site team in taking action to ensure these are met, including monitoring and reporting requirements via ESG monitoring software. Carry out regular ESG inspections on site, making sure these are communicated to the project team and subcontractors for information and action, and follow up any non-conformances. Review Construction Phase Plans, air quality plans and site waste management plans in alignment with project sustainability targets. Deliver training to project teams and subcontractors, including how to record sustainability data on ODGroup's ESG software, to recognise environmental aspects and impacts and update environmental records required for project sustainability accreditations such as BREEAM. Liaise with accreditation assessors to review project compliance, sustainability evidence requirements and follow the project accreditation process. Collate and review project certification evidence to ensure compliance with accreditation criteria such as BREEAM and SKA Rating. Provide feedback and routes to compliance to subcontractors and project teams. Liaise with clients/ professional teams, through meetings & producing project sustainability reports. Contribute to developing and improving environmental measuring and recording techniques in alignment with ISO14001. Help to develop and implement community engagement plans. Communicate sustainability issues and performance to site teams (via team meetings, project reports and sustainability information posters on site). Contribute ODGroup ESG update on a quarterly basis. Support the Head of Sustainability by contributing to the development of the ODGroup ESG Strategy. Contribute to winning work e.g. PQQs, tenders, interviews. Assess project sustainability risks and opportunities at tender. Hold regular performance reviews with waste contractors to ensure diversion from landfill targets and environmental legislation compliance is being met. Contribute to company-wide sustainability resources such as the sustainable materials library.
