About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to welcome an experienced Regional Sales Manager to support further business development, based in the North.
The role will complement our current Sales team, responsible for developing and delivering a growth plan for the region. With expert knowledge you’ll ensure our clients always receive a seamless and professional approach, with the best technical advice and solutions to their pump requirements.
You’ll work closely with our Strategic Account Managers and other departments in the business in order to maximise opportunities, develop revenues and build lasting relationships with our customers.

As Regional Sales Manager, you’ll get to:

Provide both strategic and tactical leadership and direction to the Regional Sales Team to ensure that sales targets are achieved and exceeded.

Have a small portfolio of your own accounts to manage and develop.

Establish and develop the sales team’s client interfaces, build and nurture relationships through gaining trust and confidence in you and in our products and our company.

Work collaboratively across the whole sales organisation and Workdry Group to build, maintain and develop profitable business relations.

Understand, manage and monitor existing clients spends and develop new business

Develop an expert understanding of the pump range and services we can offer, including up to date knowledge with changes in technology and developments in the customer’s industry sector and our own.

Deliver knowledgeable presentations to customers in a professional manner, both face to face and online.

Manage and devise necessary quotations.

Retain, recruit and develop an outstanding sales team within your region.
What we are looking for:

Demonstrable knowledge and experience of managing a sales team, in a sales or rental orientated business.

A successful proven track record in a senior sales role where you have delivered strategic aims and driven growth plans.

Demonstrable experience of using a plan, framework or strategic approach to add value to a team or customer relationship.

Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver professional and clear presentations, both online and face to face.

Demonstrates a professional approach to the role, with the confidence to challenge the status quo and seek continuous improvements to our ways of working.

Developing/coaching/training a sales team.
-
People management skills.

Intermediate MS Office skills (including Excel, Outlook, and Teams Communications).

IT proficient – experience with sales management systems and internal systems.

Holder of a full driving licence and happy to travel regularly within the UK.
Please note, a full UK driving licence is required for this role as attendance to customer sites will be required. This role will include overnight stays 1-2 nights per week to ensure an active presence across the full region.
