The Role
The Civil Engineer will play a vital part in designing and delivering water infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include:
Developing civil engineering designs, including hydraulic and structural calculations.
Producing technical specifications, detailed reports, and schedules.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient, safe, and practical solutions during all project stages—from design to commissioning.
Performing site and asset surveys to inform design decisions.
Integrating sustainability principles, including whole-life carbon considerations and circular economy strategies, into designs.
Managing interfaces between civil designs and other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, and geotechnical engineering.
Building strong client relationships and fostering a one-team approach to achieve project goals. Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Progression toward professional accreditation/Chartership (IEng or CEng)
A systematic approach to problem-solving and excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and the ability to manage projects effectively.
A valid driving license and flexibility to travel to various sites as needed.
