NexGen Heating - Technician
We are currently looking for multiple Heating Technician’s across the North of England and South/Midlands to join our well-established team and work with us on a number of UK wide projects.
We are at the forefront of manufacturing next generation sustainable heating products, with a specific challenge to help reduce fuel poverty in the UK and globally, and to move home and building heating systems through electrification to achieve lower CO2 footprints.
We are looking for motivated and exceptional people to work with our multi-award-winning technology, in revolutionising how homes can be heated whilst reducing carbon emissions and lowering costs for consumers – This is the tomorrows ‘future of heating’, today.
We are working closely with large scale housing projects and commercial businesses to help them reach UK government net zero targets.
Longer term this will extend to multiple overseas markets; we are looking for people interested in joining a growing team in a fast-moving business. NexGen is a British design, and we are proudly manufacturing in the UK.
This role will be provided with full training on all our products, installation, diagnostics and rectification methods.
NexGen Technician
Duties/responsibilities:
Reporting into a Project Manager, duties will include:

Maintenance (and occasional installation) of NexGen heating systems/products

Diagnose and repair any technical issues that may occur

Tests system performance and ensure quality control

Conduct Surveys and report back with recommendations on installations

Adhere to safety standards and protocols

Set up NexGen heating system controls/train end users how to use NexGen system

Work alongside contractors to ensure the systems are being installed correctly

Site visits to ensure projects are running on time

Formalise reports to PM with any issues occurring on site

Train contracting teams on how to install (in house/on-site)

Log work carried out on site (CRM)
Requirements:

Experience working within the heating/construction industry (or similar)

Ability to travel to different areas of the UK with potential overnight stays

Able to quickly learn and understand company procedures and processes

IT literate and experience in using CRM systems

Positive interpersonal skills

Must have full, clean UK driving license
Package:

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000

Please note: We are hiring x2 roles across the UK, ideally x1 technician based in the North of England and x1 in Midlands/South of England.
