You will be joining a high-profile main contractor working on water schemes in the Shropshire area. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water industry and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Engineer.
Your new role
As Project Engineer, you will be based in the Shropshire area and be responsible for, but not limited to:
Ensuring project costs do not exceed tender/varied allowanceLiaising with subcontractors, site management and suppliersMaintaining good client relationships at all levelsMonitoring subcontract performanceEnsuring all applications for payment are made on/before the due dateAssisting in the production of contract programmes, monitoring programmes as well as producing progress reports.
What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful, you will have:Basic engineering background (electrical and/or mechanical)Working knowledge of NEC contractsKnowledge of water treatment processesCDM and health & safety knowledge.
