Position Overview: The Head of Business is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the full dealership operation in London. This role ensures the seamless integration and performance of the Sales, Aftersales and Parts departments, driving exceptional customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability. Reporting directly to senior management, the Head of Retail will be instrumental in representing the organisation’s brand values and fostering a culture of excellence. Key Responsibilities: 1. Leadership & Strategy Develop and execute the dealership’s operational strategy, aligning with corporate goals and objectives. Lead, inspire, and manage cross-functional teams across Sales, Aftersales, and Parts, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. Establish clear departmental objectives and KPIs, ensuring consistent tracking and reporting of progress. Identify growth opportunities and implement initiatives to optimise revenue and market share. 2. Sales Management Oversee all sales activities, ensuring the dealership meets or exceeds volume, revenue, and customer acquisition targets. Monitor and refine sales processes to deliver a seamless and customer-centric experience. Collaborate with marketing teams to implement local campaigns and promotional activities. 3. Aftersales & Customer Service Manage the Aftersales department, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery that meets quality standards. Drive customer retention and satisfaction by promoting best-in-class service practices. Handle escalated customer issues, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining brand reputation. 4. Parts Operations Oversee inventory management and parts availability to support sales and aftersales activities. Implement efficient stock control measures to minimize waste and ensure optimal stock levels. Work closely with suppliers to maintain strong relationships and negotiate favourable terms. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in managing dealership operations. Strong knowledge of sales, aftersales, and parts processes and best practices. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams. Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting and P&L management. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
