IMPERIAL WAR MUSEUMS

About Us

Imperial War Museums (IWM) is a British national museum organization with branches at five locations in England, three of which are in London. The museum was founded in 1917 to record the civil and military war effort and sacrifice of Britain and its Empire during the First World War. Today, IWM's remit has expanded to include all conflicts in which British or Commonwealth forces have been involved since 1914.

IWM is committed to sustainability and has implemented various initiatives to reduce its environmental impact. The museum has focused on energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable sourcing. However, detailed information on specific sustainability metrics, such as carbon footprint calculations or ESG reports, is limited.
