About Us
Church of England
The Church of England is the primary state church in England, where it also acts as the mother church of the international Anglican Communion. It traces its history back to the Christian church recorded as existing in the Roman province of Britain by the third century, and to the 6th-century Gregorian mission to Kent led by Augustine of Canterbury.
Sustainability
The Church of England has made significant commitments to sustainability and environmental stewardship. It has set a target to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2030. The Church has also been involved in various initiatives to promote renewable energy, reduce waste, and support biodiversity. However, detailed ESG reports and carbon footprint calculations are not readily available.
